Find the right detail

Skim for the topic. Then scan for names, places and times. Match the question word to the information needed.

Örnek “The drama club meets on Friday.” When? On Friday. Which club? The drama club.

These words have different jobs. Use the information in the text; do not guess a person’s language from one detail.

Örnek “Mina is from Japan. She is Japanese. She speaks Japanese and English.”

State your choice and give a reason. Vocabulary should fit the activity, technology or personal preference in the task.

Örnek “I prefer working in pairs because we can compare our ideas.”

Read the time expression and identify the subject before choosing a verb. Use the whole context, not one isolated word.

Örnek “She studies every evening. She is preparing a poster now.”

Include every requested detail. Use short connected sentences, then check names, capitals, verb forms and punctuation.

Örnek “Our school has a music festival. I help with the programme because I enjoy music.”
